What happens when we all choose the words of God?

The Day That I Woke Up follows the origins of The God Speaks Project, an experiment in listening.

Beginning in Nashville, Tennessee, Shabazz Larkin walked the streets with a notebook asking a simple question: Have you ever heard from God?

The answers—fragments of prophecy, poems, and proverbs—were gathered from everyday people and transformed into monumental works of text placed back into the public square.

The project raises a quiet but powerful question: Who gets to author the voice of God? In this world, revelation belongs to everyone.
