Imperfect Father is a 48 × 60 inch acrylic painting by Nashville artist Shabazz Larkin.

It’s a big, unapologetic portrait about fatherhood — the messy, imperfect, human kind. The kind where love and failure sit in the same chair. Larkin distorts the figure slightly, pushing the image away from polite portraiture and toward something more honest: the emotional architecture of being a father, of trying, of holding a family together even when you know you’re flawed.
